For those who enjoy a sweeter, fruit-forward cocktail, the Berry Burst is a delightful choice. This cocktail brings together the best of summer’s berry bounty with the effervescence of sparkling wine, creating a drink that’s as refreshing as it is flavorful. Whether you’re hosting a brunch or a backyard gathering, the Berry Burst is sure to be a hit with its vibrant color and taste.

ingredients

  • 4 oz Cava (we love this paired with Avissi)
  • 1 oz berry puree (strawberries, raspberries, or a mix)
  • 1 tsp honey or simple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh berries for garnish

directions

  1. Prepare the berry puree by blending your chosen berries until smooth. Strain if you prefer a smoother texture.
  2. Add the berry puree to a chilled champagne flute.
  3. If you like your drinks on the sweeter side, add a teaspoon of honey or simple syrup and stir.
  4. Top off with sparkling wine, pouring slowly to preserve the bubbles.
  5. Garnish with fresh berries and serve immediately.
Sip and enjoy the burst of berries and bubbles!
