Here's to your go-to crowd pleaser! Who says cranberries are just for the holidays? Once you try this punch, you'll be whipping it up year-round (no judgment here!). This vibrant drink is a showstopper with its ruby-red hue, making it the star of any holiday spread. Serve it up in a festive punch bowl or a huge pitcher and make sure those apple and orange slices are ready for the perfect finishing touch! 


  • 2 cups frozen or fresh cranberries

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 (750-ml.) bottle sangría, chilled

  • 1/4 cup (2 oz.) Campari

  • 1 large navel orange, thinly sliced

  • 1 large Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced

  • 1 (750-ml.) bottle brut Champagne, chilled (we love this paired with Veuve Clicquot - Yellow Label or Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut)


  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan over medium-high; bring to a boil, stirring often until sugar dissolves and berries just begin to pop, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat; cool 30 minutes.

  2. Stir together sangría, Campari, and cooled cranberries with liquid in a large pitcher or a small punch bowl. Add orange and apple slices.

  3. Serve over ice with a few pieces of fruit in each glass.
